Behaviour Consultations
Here to offer a calm, supportive hand when behaviour challenges feel overwhelming
Common issues I work with include reactivity to other dogs, separation anxiety, fears and phobias, sound sensitivities, inappropriate toileting, destructive behaviour, handling sensitivity, car-travel issues, and challenges faced by newly adopted dogs or dogs preparing for big life changes.
I offer full behaviour consultations to help identify what’s causing the issue and put clear management strategies in place. From there, I create a straightforward plan to help you and your dog work on overcoming the problem.
During a consultation, I take a detailed history of your dog, gain a clear understanding of the behaviour, and assess the factors contributing to the problem. From this, I create a personalised training plan designed to support your dog’s emotional wellbeing and help them feel more confident in the environments or situations they find difficult.

How it works
-
The best way to get in touch is to fill out my contact form. Alternatively you can send an email to admin@rv-caninebehaviour.co.uk
I’ll then get back to you with my availability, and forward you my client questionnaire. -
I’ll send you a client questionnaire to gather important information about your dog, including their history, current issues, general details, and daily lifestyle.
All behavioural consultations require a referral from your vet. Please make sure to let them know that you’re working with me in a behavioural capacity, and give permission for them to share your dog’s medical history.
-
During the behaviour assessment, which typically takes place in your home, we’ll explore the root causes of your dog’s behaviour and outline practical steps for change. If preferred, we also offer consultations at alternative locations or via video call.
After the assessment, you’ll receive a personalised behaviour modification plan, thoughtfully tailored to meet the specific needs of both you and your dog.

Behaviour change takes time. I’ll be with you every step of the way through follow-up sessions, email check-ins, and adjustments as needed.
